Our Team
Kevin Wright (Writer & Co-director)
Kevin has been writing stories since his parents gave him his first typewriter when he was seven. He's not super old or anything, he just thought it would be cool to own a typewriter. Since then, he has worked as a freelance author, with bylines in Fandom. In 2023, he published his first children's book, Ersa of the Moon, as part of a plot to propose to his then-partner (it worked!).
Since its conception in the throes of quarantine, Storm Runner has become his great passion. He is thrilled by the privilege of working with such an incredible team of creatives to bring our little show to life.
Aaron Sida Ding (Sound Editor & Voice of BOAT)
As a daytime software engineer and a night-time “everything else”, Aaron Ding has been lucky enough to have talented and enthusiastic friends and colleagues who are willing to bring these random projects into life. One such project was the lovely Storm Runner series, which was born during an extremely stressful gaming session with his co-creator Kevin Wright. Being able to combine experience in theatre, music, technology, and video editing into one project is truly a one of kind experience, and finding the passionate and talented cast and fans along the way has been the greatest of journeys. Aaron hopes this ride continues into greater and greater heights, and is looking forward to enjoying it with all of you.
Suzy Snowden-Ifft (Producer & Voice of Ezz)
Actor and producer, artist and accountant, creator and academic. When straddling opposites, you often end up seeing the world at a bit of a weird angle. This scrappy little audio drama, while the most passionate of passion projects, has become so much more since Suzy first jumped into the gas cloud that eventually formed into Storm Runner. Every iteration we've found some new idea to try, some wild new way to tell our story. And it's fully because our production team comes from all different walks of life, each bringing our own weird angle that spirals into some new flavor thrown into the mix. And we can't wait to show you what we're cooking up. Years ago, a rogue student theatre company taught Suzy that storytelling is at its finest when giving opportunities to others and she hopes to continue that Nomads spirit in all that she does.
